Millie and Granddad
We woke up at 4:00 and it wasn’t even because Millie wanted breakfast. She was sleeping. But her 6:00 am “alarm” was another matter. Hubby made coffee and Millie had breakfast. Then he and Millie went out to enjoy the great outdoors. And that was how our day continued, mostly pampering the little miss. She loved being outside on her bed and let us know when it was time to go to the litter pan, water or food bowl. I got quite a few steps on those travels. It seemed as soon as I had settled back down, she was giving the signal to bring her back out. After the last two busy days, hubby and I both needed a break so we did not plan a hike or other adventure. Hubby brought home KofC breakfast leftovers so that’s one easy nourishing meal each day. We have yogurt, apple cranberry scones and fresh fruit as well. We finished setting up camp - put up our sunscreen, lights, wind chimes, flags, etc. I realized I forgot to bring bird seed so that went on the list. Our size D batteries were too weak to start the screen house light/ceiling fan so they went on the list also. After his shower, hubby made a run to the store, adding ice cream to the list. I stayed at the camper to keep Millie company and rest. We made lunch from our dinner leftovers. We are expecting a storm momentarily. Unless the wind picks up or we hear thunder, we should be fine under our canopy. Hoping your day was as fun. Stay safe.
