Bowness.

Stopped at AH to walk Fletch and almost decided to go back home as it started to rain then hail on us. 
But as we got back to the car the clouds were breaking and there was a bit of blue sky so we set off to Bowness.  

Glad we did..  Blue sky snd sunshine and the cold air meant visibility was good. Lovely views

Last time we were there in February it was also sunny and very very busy so I aimed for the biggest carpark at Braithwaite Fold. There was only a handful of cars! 

 We strolled across the mini golf course ( it's allowed and there were just a few other people exercising their dogs ) and made our way up to The Angel...not too busy. 
A table by the window and excellent food. A nice leisurely lunch. Then to Lakeland leather to spend my voucher and on to The Bath House for Sis in laws birthday present. 
Nicer to buy in a shop than on line.  

Strolled back across the  mini golf and enjoyed the views and Fletch enjoyed the freedom. Hes done remarkably well today. 

Back at the carpark and it was empty. I bet its not like that on Saturday!
