Sunny Chicks
A day of pottering in the garden, pricking out salad seedlings and thinning out leek seedlings. Hummus has been made and dried fruit for a tea loaf are soaking.
In the village, knitters have been busy helping us celebrate the arrival of spring. I’m most grateful for the cheer they bring as I pass by.
Grateful:
- To have a sunny spring-like day.
- To find the chilli pepper seeds I’d put in the greenhouse as a lost hope, have germinated.
- To harvest more forced rhubarb at the allotment. We’ll have some of it with rice pudding this evening.
