Two Wanderers

This is the lane we walk up nearly every day with Merlin on our way to the field. Soon the trees will be full of leaves and they will create a tunnel-like structure. For now though it’s light and airy, and it’s easy to see the birds and squirrels as we walk along.

We’ve had a cold northerly wind today so after our walk at the foreshore we had a hot drink from the Diddy Van and spent a little time enjoying the harbour view including the last of the remaining brent geese.

Also today, Merlin had a trip to the vet so we could get some advice on how to manage his allergies, I planted some first early potatoes and picked rhubarb, and Andy secured the allotment shelter to the ground to try to prevent any lift offs in high winds. I also sorted out the references for my volunteering.
