The first flower on my white camellia came out today. It’s beautiful but of course will quickly go brown because of all the rain we are having.
Went to upholstery this morning- start d working on the arms of my little chair. Left it with N so that her husband can attach the new legs that I bought earlier in the week. The plumber arrived soon after I arrived home. He replaced the inlet and waste pipe on the toilet but also found a leak on the flush pipe higher up. That means he will need to take off some of the tiles to repair it. We also agreed I should get a new toilet pan for the guest bathroom as it only flushes on one side. He will do everything in one day. When he left I looked online and the tiles were showing as out of stock. I decided to drive over to the showroom to see if they could source any for me. Fortunately they can put in a special order for them , but it will take three to five weeks to arrive. Booked the plumber for 8 April. Thank goodness I have more than one toilet! G messaged me in the evening to ask for more cottage pies . I’m really pleased C has found something she likes but I took 6 portions over a week ago!
