Left home at 8.30 to drive over to G snd Cs. Not as much traffic as I thought so was able to pop into Aldi on the way and still arrived for 9.30. I was there to be there whilst G did a survey. He was due to arrive home at 1.30 so thought I needed to take something to do. I don’t usually do any patchwork in between the meetings but stitched these three whilst C watched TV and we occasionally chatted. I was hoping she would be interested in doing some but no chance. I suggested several other crafts but got a no to all of them. She won’t read either. It’s becoming a little frustrating, especially as she is quite a bit better physically and also mentally (mostly). However she seems to have some sort of mental block about spending any amount of her time out of bed, and when we suggest things she might like to do she either just says no or says she wont be able to do it properly so doesn’t want to do it. So tricky to try and work out what might help.
I left as soon as G arrived home and went home for a quick very late lunch, after calling in to see my Dad who is having problems with his catheter a gain. My sat nav stopped working on the way home so after phoning a few places realised I would have to take it to the Renault dealer to get it fixed. Grr!
Collected the church hall keys and then AJ and we went to shift donations from the garage ( leaky and home to a family of mice) onto the stage. There were lots more than we expected so left some for Saturday. We have cleared enough space in the plastic trunks for this week’s donations though. Dropped AJ off at the VW dealership to collect her car and then we went to LM’s for tea and cake and to discuss the next survey. Got home about 6.30 to two very hungry cats!
