Connections

I had plenty of time to visit the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral, constructed in the 1960s it is quite an impressive building, extra. Unfortunately I couldn’t see inside because of Graduations. Instead I walked on into the student quarter and briefly looked around the Victoria Gallery and Museum, another striking piece of architecture - some iffy Victorian natural history exhibits, best forgotten and 20 Years of Clay by designer Louise Waller.

The train connection in Wigan gave me just over half an hour to find and blip Wigan Pier which I was quite chuffed about.
