Was expecting to have dome interesting photos of branches in the road or at least garden furniture or plant pots blown over in the wind last night but there was nothing so here is an EB of Billie and Otis snoozing on my bed in the early morning sunshine. It didn't last! Called yet another plumber and sent him a text too.
Went to sewing group in the morning- we started making the patchwork quilt for the cottage next door. Nice to do something communal, and something that I know will have a use and be displayed afterwards. Went to the supermarket for food for afternoon tea on Wednesday and then called in to see James as I had a couple of house plants for him. He had a really bad cough and cold so I offered to get drugs etc for him after Bridge. Bridge went ok and I went to the pharmacy afterwards. Got caught in rush hour traffic going back to J’s and then home. No response from this morning’s plumber but a friend from food bank sent me a recommendation. I phoned him straight away and he answered and booked me in for a week tomorrow. He seemed very good and assured me that it was a definite appointment, so I have high hopes that he will turn up or at least message me if he has an emergency. Fingers crossed!
