Another EB- the decoupage box i did last week. Will probably paint the bare wood.
Had a morning phone call with D in Australia which went on to almost 10 am. Was tidying up when I heard the OU mentioned on Woman’s Hour. Jo Phoenix was being interviewed- she’s an ex-OU academic who has just won a case for unfair dismissal. Not long after that had finished I got an email from AT including the tribunal report. Its very long so I didn’t read it all , but it’s a very sad read. All this meant I was late starting on the prep and baking for Dads 95th birthday tomorrow, as well as making some financiers that C had asked for. It was all going well until I realised that the scones weren’t browning. Somehow I had switched the oven off! Had to pop to M and S for more flour to remake them , and then packed the car as much as I could. Sorted out my house insurance and a couple of other things , then decided I had had enough. Was a bit fed up as I had intended to go to the afternoon showing of One Life, but ran out of time.
