Went to upholstery this morning. I finished taking all the tacks out, filled the resultant holes with a sawdust and wood glue mixture and started to attach webbing onto the seat. The electrician phoned as i was about to leave the house. He was trying to fit in another customer who wanted their work doing tomorrow ( when he is coming to me). He asked if he could come this morning and do my work. I said no but offered to reschedule for next week . We agreed in next Thursday- he was very grateful!
I cooked and ate my main meal, prepared a snack for this evening snd then went to the hairdresser. I was M’s last client so she was very happy to talk through and try some options to slightly change the style- the alternative would have been dusting all the shelves! We settled on less red in the dye and a very subtle change to the cut. We’ll see what happens when I dry it. All the discussion and trying out meant that I was there for 2.5 hours- too long!
Got home and did some general faffing around before going to Bridge. Think I played better than last time and we moved upwards in the results table so I was happy!
