Went to food bank this morning . Each family got two bunches of flowers from m and s. Nice surprise for them I hope. We have lots of stock at the moment- people were very generous over the Christmas period. We do however have a problem with storage- the garage that we usually use ( belonging to the church hall where we pack) has a mouse infestation and a leaky roof. At the moment we are using the stage in the hall but thats only a very temporary solution. Came home with lots of cardboard which I managed to get in my bin and then did some laundry, cleaned the house and made a beef stew for dad’s freezer. Was just about to finish by watering the plants and doing a small amount of ironing when I heard an almighty crash. Billie had been trying to get to the new vase of flowers on the hall cupboard and had knocked it over, breaking the vase and soaking the parquet floor. By the time I’d cleared all that up I didn't feel like doing anything else so retired to the sitting room. I started to watch After the Flood and am enjoying it.
