Dry river

The subsidiary of the main river is now virtually dry. The authorities in the departments are getting seriously worried about the water situation this summer. We desperately need some serious rain which the north of the country has had in abundance. This morning the north of France received significant snowfall while here it was once again warm and sunny. It is due to get colder tomorrow. I played tennis in the morning and had a good practice. This evening I am going to a meeting to listen to the new composting arrangements so that all residents can dispose of their food waste in an ecological manner in communal street bins.
