In Stromness Harbour

It was very misty and there was rain around for our last morning on Orkney.
We checked in for the ferry and had a wander around near the harbour and this shot is one of a few that I took of boats and floats and the sort of thing that normally features in my day to day blips.

I did take some shots over Graemsay towards Hoy as the ferry left Stromness but I could hardly see Hoy through the mist and the camera could see even less.

The rest of the day was taken up by the drive home. We stopped at Dornoch for lunch, Inverness for petrol, and at the House of Bruar for coffee which was hastily changed to ice cream as they were just closing.

I'll remember that holiday for a very long time.
Revisited some places we love.
Met some wonderful people.
Tried a new printing method.

I shall start a countdown to Ullapool ...
