Day #8 Juxtaposition

This morning I went for a shot walk near our hotel in Manizales.  We took a long bus ride, essentially to get to Medellin.  A long journey down the mountain and up the mountain, construction traffic, etc. made this ride difficult.  We had a beautiful dinner and lecture about the city and Escobar.

Many commuters use motorcycles,bicycles, buses, cable cars, and light rail to get to work.  The extra is of some morning traffic near the entrance to the city.
