Zoom funeral

It was very obvious that we’d not to driving to Kirkcaldy today. Mr C was up several times in the night, me only twice, but we both get only 30 seconds warning.

We got a weird message from GP saying they’d wait to see the results of the second sample we’d handed in. We had not handed one in or been advised to so we did that before 11. The message also said that when we were in for our already-arranged appointment on 13th the “situation would be re-assessed”. That will be 2 weeks after I first got ill.

I was able to watch the humanist service by zoom but Mr C had to excuse himself at one point. It was a very nice tribute. I was so sad not to have been there in person as Jenny and I have been friends for over 70 years. However, as others have already said, I can be there for her at other times when support is needed.

Thomas is 11 today. We got him some technic Lego plus the stones and feathers he asked for from Madagascar. Hopefully we’ll be recovered enough to see him at the weekend.
