Cheery present

Ailie called round with this pretty little cyclamen to cheer me up. It was so nice to see her after being in isolation since we got back and missing parties and get-togethers.

We were both up several times in the night. We contacted the surgery and this time spoke to a GP. Apparently the surgery had only asked for the H Pylori test to be done. Not what was required. It is a common thing in stomach and was positive but the treatment causes diarrhoea so she says we need to make an appointment in the new year to get that dealt with. The current situation still needs to be dealt with.

Just as well we took another sample in yesterday. The results won’t be here till Monday. She suspects we have food poisoning and it should sort itself out in 7-10 days. I’m on day 8. She’s going to get a GP to ring again on Monday with the results. In the meantime we carry on with the BRAT diet and lots of water. I can’t face the rice but she says so long as I eat some of the others little and often that should be fine.

Meanwhile Mr C has taken to bed as he is shivery. We are SO tired. I’m sorry I’m behind again with blip reading.
