Sunday: Mid Century Modern

The two hour time difference meant we were up nice and early.  Waking up and seeing the mountains was just spectacular.

We’ve enjoyed exploring the residential streets and seeing the architecture.  There are so many fabulous mid century modern houses here.

We also did a bit of shopping for supplies as our accommodation has a little kitchenette.  We moved rooms from the one we were in yesterday - not because there was anything wrong with it.  All the rooms are very individual and you book a specific room - we weren’t able to get the full run in our chosen room so had to spend the first night in a different one.

We enjoyed our Trader Joe’s shopping experience.  As K says, it’s fun doing ordinary things in extraordinary places.

Our accommodation has cocktail hour between 5-6 so we enjoyed that and then headed out for craft beers and dinner.

I’ve added a couple of extras.
