The world is just a great big onion

Today we got up and headed out into the mid day sun 

That was a mistake 

We arrived at the Doha Expo in 38 degree heat 

We walked slowly and steadily but after visiting only four countries we decided that stopping for refreshments was a.must

Lunch was lovely and a bit more.chilled than outside.  we watched Hamish and three chaps.from.Afghanistan and two chaps from.doha discuss.busijess.  to be honest.  Hamish looked a bit out of his depth. But he was only there I think because his son had a job in the restaurant ..have you ever seen an.arab with ginger hair?  Seriously. This guy. Darkest tan ginger hair to make a Scots man proud 

Hamish was loosing his. But it was the same colour 

We.bimbled through some more.countriea. Saudi; Kuwait; the Congo. And of course Qatar 

All beautiful. Place was empty. Qataris know not to step.out in the sunshine. 

At 8000.steps I could step.no more in the heat 

We started back to the exit and called the obligatory Uber.  I was so happy to sit down

After a.nap we were up again and washed and dressed and out to dinner at Katari.

Oh heavens what a beautiful place and it has cooled sufficiently that we were able to sit outside and enjoy dinner over looking the sea and the skyline 

We are learning. We only had one course which meant we were able to walk out of the restaurant on our legs and not crawl.

We had a little bimble around  took in the amphitheatre and then decided to.head on home 

We.wartched one episode of Bodies. How is this going to resolve itself ????  And then to bed
