Another quiet day

I’m having another quiet day. When I cough I get a headache.

I finished my book. On my previous visits to Venice La Fenice had been closed, being restored after a fire. One person in the story witnessed the soon to be dead conductor from the same side as we did, on the same floor. Other locations in the book were also familiar.

In the afternoon I continued with my Blurb book of our European van trip.

Yesterday evening we chatted on FaceTime with Chloe and Graham who had been having a relaxed time in Valencia. It sounds a lovely city.

Yesterday Ella and Nathaniel had a journey to Hartlepool with the casting agent and 2 other children for their little roles in a hospital drama. Ella is there all week but Nathaniel didn’t want to miss his squash course at school so he’s only working 2 days. Ella is wearing her dressing gown as she and her Grandad are patients. Nathaniel says in his scene he has an appointment with his mother. As there are only 4 children there’s only 1 chaperone so they have to watch each others scenes which means keeping quiet. Ella enjoyed the clapper board bit and met the star actress but couldn’t remember her name as it was too unusual. The rest of the time they do school work and chat.

I can’t write about Gaza. What could I say?
