Ben woke at 2am last night, having a coughing fit, he briefly struggled to get back to sleep but he was pretty much all sorted by 3am so it could have been worse.  He had his PAs take him out for the day today, so he's been to the woods and swimming.  It was an inflatable session and I was a bit stressed, as I thought he would surely fall off and maybe hurt himself but all seems well.  He said he didn't manage to stay on very long but he has had fun.  He does have a carpet burn type thing on his chin but it doesn't seem to bother him and he doesn't know where he got it, so I've mulled it over and decided not to worry about it :-/ 
I took older teen for a haircut and the three of us went out for lunch which was really nice.  I had an affogato for pud which always amuses me as I feel as though I'm not refined enough to be trusted with it, I'm concerned there's a secret, proper way to consume it but hey, chucking it all together and gobbling it with a spoon worked for me today! 
I had taken Leo for a walk around 10am when the sun was shining and he galloped across the field chasing sunshine or shadows or squirrel ghosts.  He was the definition of 'carefree'.  Bless.
Mr KCNQ2Haiku has gone to a concert with some friends and I'm trusty bath monitor, so that's all for now :-)
