Danfoniad arbennig
Danfoniad arbennig ~ Special delivery
“If there's one thing I've learned about all my years watching Earth, is that people aren't what they may seem. There are shop boys, and there are boys who just happen to work in a shop for the time being. And trust me, Tristan, you're no shop boy.”
― Neil Gaiman, 'Stardust'

Rydyn ni wedi cael danfoniad o ffrwythau a llysiau bron bob wythnos am tuag tri deg o flynyddoedd. Am y rhan fwyaf mae e wedi bod Glyn Carter sy wedi bod gyrru’r fan, a nawr mae'n rhannu'r gwaith gyda'i fab e, Ieuan. Yn y pen draw rydw i'n meddwl y bydd Glyn wedi ymddeol a bydd y busnes yn pasio i Ieuan.
Mae e wedi bod eithaf cyfleus i ni i gael ffrwythau a llysiau yn dod i'n drws. A nawr, fel does dim car gyda ni, ac yn fuan, fel rydyn ni'n tyfu hen, mae'n fwyaf pwysig.
Mae'n ddiddorol hefyd i weld y busnes yn pasio o dad i fab mae, rhywbeth arbennig yna.

We have had a delivery of fruit and vegetables almost every week for around thirty years. For the most part it has been Glyn Carter who has been driving the van, and now he shares the work with his son, Ieuan. Eventually I think Glyn will retire and the business will pass to Ieuan.
It has been quite convenient for us to have fruit and vegetables delivered to our door. And now, as we don't have a car, and soon, as we grow old, it is most important.
It is also interesting to see the business passing from father to son, there is something special there.
