A Spider Sort Of Day
We went into town today for fuel.
What a nightmare.
When did it become okay to run red lights? and when did it become acceptable to overtake cars stopped at red lights at roadworks so you and the other 4 vehicles could go through?
'Straight Lining' roundabouts causing people using the marked to take avoiding action also seems to be the norm.
I forgot to say ..... can you see the spider that edged the ivy leaf with web?
A section of hedge was cut, bagged up and a trip taken to the dump ... where I had 2 prats think it was okay to park in the middle of the road to dump their rubbish instead of using the parking bays and this stopping everybody else from moving through the place.
Washing was hung and ...... and taken in - DRY! (That came as a pleasant surprise) .
A we bit of turning was done.
While I was at the lathe there was a wasp came in and started bothering me .... until it strayed into the web of one of the spiders. Immediately the spider was on it and the fight ensued. The wasp lost. The spider seemed to spend ages sucking on the wasp but an hour or two later I saw that it had been moved into the spiders hiding hole. Although the spider is a good size it is only about half the size of the one that lives below it who came racing out when the wasp arrived but obviously lost out on the meal.
