Today's the day ........................ to be outside

We were blessed today with a day without rain, when the sun shone throughout.  It was a perfect day for the cousins to meet up again - and to spend most of it outside.  We went to Threave Castle Nature Reserve this afternoon for a last look at the ospreys before they head off to Africa for the winter months.  

Then we ate outside before heading off into Kirkcudbright for Scottish Night.  The extra shows the first ever Kirkcudbright Summer Prince (it's normally a Princess), Adam Gourlay and his attendants, Ashley Jamieson and Kayley McCormick, strutting their stuff and keeping an eye on things ..........................
