And relax

Woke up to much better weather which continued through the day.  Sunshine and showers but a brisk wind all day.  

V not feeling great so we took it easy.  I walked Woody in the morning and then we went over to Charlotte’s to pick up the pottery of hers and JR that I’d pre bought from instagram. I got a lovely bright green breakfast mug.

We went to Calgary beach with a simple lunch of sandwiches and beer and just about dodged the showers long enough to walk round to the pier, V not quite feeling well enough to walk up to Inea, or David Tennant’s village as we call it.  Need to double check what it’s actually called!


Lovely to be back on Calgary in sunshine, watching families swimming and playing,  and then donning dry robes or rushing back to the car park to eat ice cream,  when the showers came.  

Cooked chicken and veg tray bake with baked spuds and gorgeous dark Scottish raspberries with thick cream.  

Watched the first episode of Sarah’s The Sixth Commandment which was very well done and terribly sad.
