Wandsworth Park

This park is at the bottom of the road where John's dad lives at Putney Bridge.

We took a walk here this morning along the Thames to some amazing houseboats in the distance on the picture, it is part of the Riverside Walk and the Thames path. It was a little cool this morning but I couldn't help but admire these wonderful old trees forming a delightful riverside avenue. Rod told us later that it is one of only two parks in London with a preservation order because of these magnificent tree.

In the other direction we walked under Putney Bridge to the place where boats are launched for the famous Boat Race in March. There were rowers out this morning.

Nice to see Grace as the excitement builds for the wedding and thanks to Rod for putting us up over night. On the train home now and the sun is shining.
