The same ...

but different.

I think this was probably where yesterday's California poppy originated but the ones left in this flower bed are cream. They are much less striking but I think lovely all the same.

I took a couple of pictures of them on outer way out to church but it was almost impossible not to get a shadow in the bright morning sun. Now it has clouded up a bit so I have managed this shadowless shot.

It's very warm and muggy now. I had hoped for a picture of the wedding arch at church from yesterday's wedding but the ivy has already wilted. (They did do it themselves so there was no oasis involved)

So here we are - 'the same but different'.
