Ladies that have already had lunch -

having afters!

Headed to London to see daughter Grace and a wedding dress today.

We are staying at Putney Bridge with Grace's future father in law overnight so,having dropped our things, we went around the corner to Carluccio's for lunch. We had a special deal of 3 pasta dishes to share and some amazing green olives. We then headed to Wimbledon to see the wedding dress. Thankfully all was well and she still likes it just as much as she did when it was ordered last September.

Her friend and chief bridesmaid Zoe met up with us there and then we went up west for a cuppa! Well it turned into rather more than just a cuppa. This is the Gran Caffe opposite Harrods and the cakes were motto be resisted. The girls had these enormous chocolate profiteroles and I had the more modest Vanilla slice as we call them in Yorkshire, here they were called Mille Fieulle St Honore!

We were going to do the V and A but ran out of steam. We said goodbye to Zoe and headed back to Putney where Wagamamas was suggested! Grace and I had edamame beans and water!!

Hope we can all get into these dresses in August.
