Remembering Tony Benn at Glastonbury

This is the Tony Benn tower. It was constructed by apprentices at the shipyard in Appledore, Devon in 2004, which was threatened with closure at time. It was renamed after Labour politician, Tony Benn, in 2014. Tony Benn was a great supporter and regular speaker at the Left Field stage at Glastonbury. I shall be heading there later this evening to hear Billy Bragg, the Bard of Barking, perform. The extra photos are of a set of the decorated tin drums that serve as waste bins throughout the site and a distant shot of Texas performing on the Pyramid Stage. 24,500 steps so far today and a lot more to come - it's a BIG site!
