It's another damp
and chilly day before the
warm weekend ahead

I was out the door heading for Mission Flats at 7. We might expect showers for the day and it began as I parked to make my stitch. I got my long view out to the delta and Battle Bluff. 

On the way back to the bridge I had a look at the river and a look across Rabbit Island to my mountains. 

I made it back home with my breakfast by 8. I'm going for a low mileage day with my feet up. 

It is National Indigenous Peoples Day with special events at the Powwow Grounds this afternoon. I'm sorry to have to give it a miss.
