Peony time

We have white and red ones in front of the farmhouse sun porch. They are pretty but I didn't plant them. I guess they were here when Dan and his first wife bought the place over 20 years ago. That's some stamina.

A few glimpses of sun today but still mostly overcast. I'm hoping for a morning to get out in my kayak. The weather is crazy. I think it's going to be rainy and overcast the entire time my mom and her friend are here. I am really disappointed. I guess I'll have to see what we will be able to do. Her friend Judy  hasn't been to Maine and I really want to be able to do some fun things.
I finally moved my mattress and all my sleeping paraphernalia out to the nook so it's officially summer sleeping time. Now if summer would just get here!
New (old) extras. I've added a couple pictures of the nook. It's like sleeping at camp. Last night was around 50 so very delicious and cool. These were taken several years ago when Dan had just finished building it.
