The Fox
My first return to this pub since it was returned to a normal local. A chef called Mark Hix had it for a couple of years but gave up trying to make it pay. During that time it was expensive for eating and drinking and Hix discourage locals from just dropping in, it seems. Now it's very friendly and traditional; in fact it reminds me of pubs in Somerset that I used to visit from school, when £1 bought you at least three pints . . .
