A day at my desk. Homemade pizza for dinner, then a wander to the allotment to water my young plants and enjoy the gentle evening sunshine. The swallows and house martins were swooping overhead catching insects. I think the allotment is looking the best I’ve seen it in 5 years - the warm and sunny weather we’ve had these past weeks has helped, as has plentiful rain earlier in the spring. These flowers and herbs are at the front of one of my plots.
