Coming Home

It’s been a beautiful day. I’ve mainly been in the garden repotting houseplants which were in a terrible state of neglect. Other bits and bobs were done too - sunflowers potted on, cosmos seedlings planted out, and I made a trip to the garden centre for various items. This evening I popped to the allotment to check on the plants I put out yesterday morning. It was a peaceful evening so I stayed for an hour or so weeding and watering. As I wandered home there was coolness in the evening air and the birds were gently singing.
