Cars, cars, cars!

We went on the boat to the Skipton Classic Car Show today and before we set off I had a phone call from Tonya asking if they could pop by to see us on their way to friends in Skipton so I said we’d be at the Car Show and could meet up there.
On the way down the canal we saw our boat painter friend Eddie parked up.
He boarded the boat and came with us into Skipton where he hands out his business cards to the car and boat owners.
It was right up Yurii’s street he is car crazy! We had a lovely time with them although we lost Frank and Bella for quite a while in the crowd!
Tonya now has a part time job in her favourite shop in Kendal - a fair trade and ethnic shop and she is still volunteering in Oxfam. Yurii is happy in his gardening job. These two have done so well for themselves since moving to Kendal.

After Tonya and Yurii left we went to the music session in The Boat House (extra) It was packed in there and there were some great musicians and singers.
Frank and I did a few songs. Bella had a wee bag of treats from the bar (£1)
She was a happy dog today seeing 3 of her very favourite people - Eddie, Tonya + Yurii.

Time for bed now, I could feel my eyes getting heavy at 5pm!
