WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Kings of Swing

Back to choir today and we are going to be learning a Swing medley.
I love this kind of music. It was nice to see everyone - especially our musical director Sue’s husband David who, since the last time we saw him at Easter has had his right leg amputated. He was rushed to hospital the day after we had all been to see the musical ‘The King and I’ in Bradford. He had a burst aneurysm.
He was in good spirits and wife Sue is obviously an excellent carer and doesn’t let him give up trying to do things, so he was in his wheelchair singing along as usual. They are having to move house and have loads of alterations done in the new house to accommodate his needs.
It has been so cold and windy today so I haven’t done anything in tje garden except water everything. I had my thermals on!
Tonight we had the Vegan Thali takeaway again - all the way from Bradford.  It was delicious as usual. Kamlesh is a lovely guy and asked  to say hi to Bella so she came to the door all excited. He is a real dog lover too.

We were just watching old reruns of Outnumbered. I’d forgotten how funny it was - those children are hilarious!

Book and bedtime now.
Goodnight ;-)X
