WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

By lizzie_birkett

Last Night and This Morning.

Last night the rooks were making such a commotion as they were getting settled in their nests. I could imagine the the parents shouting to the chicks
‘Stop squabbling and get to bed!’ They flew up and around 5 times before they eventually settled.
Mornings at 5.30 am we have loads of Starlings descending on the feeder, they too make such a racket! The chicks look bigger than the parents but still open their beaks wide to be fed. When they have gone the blackbirds and sparrows come and inbetween the collared doves.
Today I will read a poem from my chosen poetry book for Love Blippin’ Books - see extra and tag. This book was a gift from Melanie many years ago. The good thing about having a poetry book for LBB6 is that I can also read a novel this month too.
Telly time - we’re watching the drama series - Tom Jones. So far so good.

Goodnight :-) X
