First Peony...

...first day of June.  The first peonies in my garden are always the tree peony which has gorgeous huge flowers.  Unfortunately, they only last a couple of days after they reach full bloom.  Today will be another scorcher but, again, it will be short lived, like the peonies.  We are in for severe thunderstorms tomorrow and then, dropping temperatures.  Looks like unsettled weather for at least a week but we desperately need the rain.
