Calder Vale Bluebell Teas

Took father in law out for a bluebell afternoon. As he is 91 going on 92 and despite waiting for a pacemaker op for his dickie heart beat it is a challenge to get him out. He is very fit for his age so Mrs Wild and me took him to Calder Vale Church and I walked him down hill to the village through the woods. Mrs Wild took the car round to meet us in the village. The local community do teas in the Village hall at Bluebell time so we were able to refuel the old chap. The over cast sky gave the Bluebells a deep blue hue as opposed to yesterday's pale blue.
