Orchid fest

I said I was going Orchid hunting earlier in the week. Hunting is perhaps the wrong description just strolling around botanzing left, right and centre. The Arnside and Silverdale Area was just a palette of colour. The jewel has to be the Slipper Orchid site. Rarest plants in Britain (poss.) and a couple walk up to me with a guide book saying were lost can you point us in the right direction. Ok says I but don't leave without looking at the really rare orchids. Oh, says they better have picture then. Out comes phone cam snap and then off. Some folk! there's no accounting for taste
