#Livingthedream – again?!

Today has been perfect.............................


............... It's why my human brought me to Cornwall for three months in the summer.


We met up with our friend, Charlotte, and went for a walk around Loe Bar this morning. Loe Bar is the largest freshwater lake in Cornwall and it is 6.5 miles all round. Most of it is in woodland so it wasn't too hot for me and I had loads of opportunity to go splish, splash, sploshing.


The humans stopped for lunch at the 'Stables' (a National Trust cafe). Ann had a very nice cheese & ham toastie, but she didn't share. Oh well, hey ho, at least there were loads of bowls of water around so that us doggies could have a drink.


When we got home, Ann said, 'Trixie, let's just lie on the sun terrace and have a little sleep'.


Mmmmmmmmm................... well that suited me, so I immediately just lay down in a shady spot. Ann lay on her rocking sun lounger (in full few of the sun) and after half an hour she had pretty much melted away.


So then she said, 'Trixie, you can have snooze time indoors, I'm off down the beach for a swim.'


Long story short......................... I snoozed in my bed, Ann went for a swim in the sea for half an hour, Ann came home, Ann had a shower, I got taken into the field for a 10 min play but there were no other doggies to play with today.  


Ann poured herself a glass of wine and sat on the sun terrace. Ann poured herself another glass of wine and sat on the sun terrace gave me my dinner, but I don't want it because I've had a busy day and I'm happily snoozing on the sofa now. (See extras).


It's 8.30pm and Ann's cooking dinner now but she's not actually hungry because the sun just shines on and on and on. …...........And she's had almost three glasses of wine...................


….....................Ann says she might actually abandon dinner and take me for my bedtime wee down the beach to look for the sunset in half an hour.


This fabulous weather can't last forever.
