The basket stall

The basket store was back on the market. The man who makes them often sits on a stool  weaving them. The bags available in the supermarkets are very functional but a traditional basket is a pleasant thing to behold and always useful. There are a few more stalls appearing as summer approaches. I made bread in the morning and read the local paper which has an article about our forthcoming Coronation Service and bell ringing. All are invited, of any faith or none, and it will be interesting to see if we have more people attend this week. In the afternoon I played tennis but not for too long as I had jobs to do and a couple of online meetings tonight.
