Vineyards and flowers

Today we drove down to the coast to walk in the vineyards above Port Vendres. It was lovely walk although we did miss our path at one point which meant we walked 12 km but with only 300 m of climbing. We made the mistake of parking in the town rather than on the outskirts and ended up having to pay over €8 for each car. Unfortunately, a friend in my car put the ticket in her purse rather than on the windscreen so we also got a parking fine! We phoned the local police and I will be able to appeal the fine it seems. We finished up eating ice creams on the side of the port before the long drive home. I got back just in time for my fourth Covid jab at the pharmacy.
