Exhibition
The posters for next week’s exhibition arrived today and I have prepared some for the windows. Last night‘s Zoom meeting with the Archdeacon of France explained the complicated process of complying with new French administrative laws required because of recent terrorist atrocities. This applies to all churches. It involves new statutes, the submission of accounts and much more. A friend came round for coffee to collect some sourdough starter I promised her. I arranged a liaison meeting with the Mairie in the morning and also had a good moan about the dog dirt in the streets. We have a deposit in front of our door every morning, but cannot catch the dog responsible. People are getting very fed up with a minority of owners who allow their dogs to foul the streets with impunity. There is little the council can do as the owners tend to push their dogs into the street first thing in the morning or late at night. I helped Mrs TT prepare a meal for guests tonight. We plan to have a lightly spiced monkfish curry, followed by brioche bread and butter pudding. I think that will be very acceptable to our Danish neighbours.
