Fiddling!

It was too late to Blip last night - we didn’t get to bed till midnight!
What a great night we had. The locals were not disappointed. From jigs and reels played by all 8 fiddlers together to sweet laments played by father and son John and Sandy Cowan. Sandy has an amazing voice too and sings such beautiful ballads. Frank, Liz Drife and I each took turns to sing and Liz and I resurrected some songs we used to do together. It was a great fun night. Our Scottish friends were impressed at how appreciative and friendly the locals were and they loved our pub.
Bella was of course spoiled rotten with treats.
Before the session we all had a lovely meal together - Frank and I had the choice of 6 meals on the the menu - that’s more like it!
I had ‘Boozy Mushroom and Chickpea Pie’ with chips and fresh veg.
