No Candles

.... we decided that ninety five would be risky!

My Mum's birthday.   Well celebrated.  I popped round with cards and a present at breakfast time.  Mum and Chris has lunch with a good friend and during the afternoon, cuppa and cake with more friends, one of whom, almost her age, drove over to pick her up.  Jamie and I prepared afternoon tea which was taken at 630.  Fresh scones and still warm banana loaf included.  We closed with a short stroll on the prom just after sunset, Jamie's phone and Mum's iPad balanced in Jamie's wheelchair for a group photo :-)

A perfect, blue sky day, the sunshine warm.   A lovely long walk with C and the Megs this morning, more wildflowers evident every day now.   Lots of flowers in the garden and greenhouse too.  A bouquet of beauties from around the world to compliment the  family pic.
