Walk in the Woods

Just for a change.

We took the Megs up the ravine at Dolgoch, a healthy little clamber which highlighted the need for me to do more of this before my planned trip to the Alps this summer.   Late afternoon, in the hope, partially realised, of avoiding the crowds.  Still early for wildflowers in the ravine but higher up, on a south facing slope I did find my first bluebell.  Very much alone at present.   Earlier I had done admin for Ruth and Jamie plus a little gardening, finally planting out the Witch Hazel I bought earlier this year.

Another nice meal at Jamie's - I cooked for a change - and I moved some of his foliage houseplants into bigger pots.  Shanty singing tonight was great fun as usual :-)
