These Hands

... have painted, sculpted, knitted and crocheted.   They've travelled the Atlantic to teach in Canada, raised five children, gone camping, climbed mountains and mastered new technologies over the last ninety four years.

My Mum has had a good birthday.  After lunch at Kings, a train ride with two sons, two grandchildren and two friends.   Tea and a sumptuous chocolate birthday cake fashioned by Jamie and all shared with another good friend.   An extra pic of a gift that Ruth crafted for her.   

I've also had a good day, sharing in much of Mum's day.   Mine had the added interest of a morning at work, emergency cover for someone with Covid.   The course of true life never runs smoothly!
