96 Not Out

My Mum's Birthday today.   I was working at Aber cafe but Ruth was able to meet her and Chris at Kings Cafe for lunch.   Jamie meanwhile was finishing off a super buffet spread of homemade delights for our tea which was duly enjoyed at mine.   The only group photo I took did not flatter any of the subjects though so it's a flower blip!   Iris unguicularis cretensis, a miniature form of this winter flowering species.  For scale, the neck of the tiny vase is just 1cm across.   Growing outside and flowering low to the ground, the slugs usually spot the flowers before I do ;-/
