Sports Day

Unfortunately the big lay-in I had planned didn't happen, but I did have a nice lazy morning before meeting a friend and having a snoop looking round the Wivenhoe Open Gardens. We were sucked in by homemade soup and local craft and ended up spending more than expected in back gardens around the town! The afternoon was spent in the local park playing rounders, flapping the parachute around, and then more rugby-rounders (in which I did a very impressive over-the-head kick to score a rounder). It was all for a friend's birthday, and the day was topped off by a long, lazy, drunken BBQ well in to the night.
