Workforce
Labour overload. G and I spent the day over at Mum's helping with lots of heavy-duty jobs in the garden. The shed is starting to rot, so we emptied it out, rearranged the pile of logs and did what we could to dry out the wood and prevent any further incidents. Annoyingly it's half-finished (I hate leaving jobs unfinished!), but we at least have a plan. We also dismantled a water feature and chopped down a huge climbing ivy that was taking over. Both of which left lots of huge spiders, snails and hideous slugs without a home. Well, the slugs went into a bucket of salt water, but the rest of them will be hunting for new houses tonight. They'll have no problem finding a replacement in Mum's garden though. With a trip to the tip, we were working for over seven hours!
By the end of the day we were filthy and I now feel knackered, but it's been amazing spending the whole weekend active and outside. Hopefully it's the start of summer.
